  • Is Habitat ReStore open to the public?

    Yes! We invite everyone to stop in and donate or shop at our Habitat ReStore. See our Location and Hours section for when we are open.

  • Where does the merchandise come from?

    Donated merchandise comes from local individuals and businesses.

  • How can I get involved?

    There are a few main ways to get involved with Habitat ReStore: Shop, Volunteer, Donate,or join our Mailing List!

  • How can my business get involved?

    Along with donations from individuals, donations from facility managers, contractors, and construction-based retailers are a component to the success of the ReStore. Your business can also enjoy a half or full day of volunteering with the ReStore. Depending on our need, we can host small or large groups. Please talk to our Volunteer Coordinator (volunteer@habitatbozeman.org) about details and to learn more.

  • I would like to drop off a donation. How do I do this?

    Bring your donations to the Habitat ReStore. Check out our Location and Hours section for when we accept donations.

    Our staff and volunteers are available to help you unload. Receipts for tax purposes are provided. Please visit our Donate page for our guidelines of what donations we accept.

  • Can my donations get picked up and delivered to the Habitat ReStore?

    Yes! Check out our Donate page for more information.

  • Are my donations tax deductible?

    In most instances, yes! For your donation, you will be provided a tax receipt to reference when preparing your taxes. Consult your tax advisor to determine your ability to make a tax deduction for your donation.

  • Does Habitat ReStore place a value on donated items for tax purposes?

    No, the value is determined by you and your accountant or tax advisor. ReStore staff and volunteers cannot advise you on the value of your donation.

  • Are the prices of items negotiable?

    We make every effort to monitor the costs of similar products at retail stores and we typically offer our products for sale at a fraction of those prices. Income generated by the ReStore contributes to the mission of Habitat for Humanity and helps to create homeownership opportunities for families in our community.

  • What types of payment do you accept at the ReStore?

    We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and cash.

  • Do I need a membership to Donate to or purchase from the Habitat ReStore?

    No membership is needed to purchase from or donate to us. We are open to the public.
