Volunteers are at the heart of Habitat for Humanity of Gallatin Valley. Whether you’re swinging a hammer, helping at the ReStore, supporting an event, or lending your professional skills, your time helps us build homes, strengthen communities, and create opportunities for hardworking Montana families.

You don’t need construction experience to volunteer. You just need a willingness to show up and help.

Build With Us

Get hands-on and help build Habitat homes in our community. Construction volunteers can assist with a variety of projects and learn new skills along the way. No previous construction experience is required.

Volunteer at the ReStore

Help keep the ReStore running by assisting customers, organizing merchandise, processing donations, and keeping the store looking its best. Your time at the ReStore directly supports Habitat’s mission and helps fund affordable homeownership in our community.

Share Your Skills

Have a professional skill or area of expertise you'd like to share? We welcome volunteers with experience in areas such as marketing, photography, communications, construction, design, administration, fundraising, and more.
