WHAT IS THE HABITAT RESTORE? Here's how it works: Habitat for Humanity accepts donations of new and saleable, used building materials such as cabinets, lighting and plumbing fixtures, doors, lumber, flooring, and windows, as well as appliances and household items (no clothes). Some materials will be used to build Habitat houses. The rest will be sold to the public at 50-75% off the retail price. We do not accept: Anything in non-saleable condition Stained or old carpet Water heaters, unless brand new in the unopened box Cabinet doors or drawers by themselves Metal aluminum windows Clothes Skis or Ski equipment Exercise equipment Paint except new unopened cans Non-Donation Items We do not trade any materials or do consignments
	THE HABITAT RESTORE: Makes home improvements more affordable. Helps Habitat build more homes. Prevents useable building materials from going to a landfill. HOW CAN YOU HELP? The ReStore is an ambitious project, and we need the help of a lot of people in many different ways to make it successful. You can help by volunteering, donating good used building materials, or simply by shopping at the Habitat ReStore. All donations to the Habitat ReStore are tax deductible. Donation Guidelines DONATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY UNTIL 1 PM; SATURDAYS UNTIL 2 PM. DONORS MUST CALL THE RESTORE (388-2851) DURING THE HOURS LISTED BELOW TO OBTAIN APPROVAL AND SCHEDULE A TIME TO DROP OFF DONATIONS. WE NO LONGER HAVE STAFF AVAILABLE TO LOAD ITEMS PURCHASED OR DONATED FOR CUSTOMERS. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN HELPERS AND AN APPROPRIATE VEHICLE FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING. THE RESTORE IS BEING OPERATED ON AN ALL-VOLUNTEER BASIS. PLEASE BE COURTEOUS AND PATIENT WITH THE PEOPLE VOLUNTEERING THEIR TIME. Before reaching West Main Street, you'll see a sign for "Bruce Industrial Park" on the left-hand side of the road. Turn left at the sign. ReStore is located approximately six-tenths of a mile on the left-hand side of the road in a one-story, brick-red building.
